I have a local board game store that I occasionally frequent, less so now for obvious reasons. One day I walked in and the owner was engaged in a full game of Terraforming Mars with another person who worked there. When I say ‘full’ I mean ‘full’ as in including all of the expansions. It’s her favorite game of all time. BoardGameGeek has it listed as the third best game overall. And if that’s not enough to pique your interest a bit, maybe the fact that it’s on sale right now on Amazon for 40% off might do it for you, just $41.99 down from $69.99. I’d give the base game a try first before adding in the expansions, those are on sale too by the looks of it.
Games take about 2 hours or so from start to finish, not including set up time. With nothing but time at home, it should be easy to carve some out to put in a game.
