Just a quick shot I took of all the official suits while working on my Iron Man 3 reviews, which should be along in the next day or so. I’ve been itching to see them all together since the IM3 sets were announced. I’m just wondering if I should do one of my reviews as a synopsis of the film based ONLY on the trailer and these three sets. Could be interesting. Crazy, but interesting.
Now to start building my Hall of Armour.
Ultron32 wrote in and linked to this ebay auction that is listing unreleased War Machine minifigs. They are purportedly from an unreleased set based on the upcoming Iron Man 3 movie. This isn’t the first time that minifigs have shown up on eBay months earlier than the official set they came from. The last such instance happening late last year with the January 2013 wave of minifigs.
The official synopsis of Iron Man 3 goes like this:
Marvel Studios’ Iron Man 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. I’d say the trailer does a pretty good job of portraying that and I look forward to seeing if Tony Stark can move beyond being such an insufferable tool and learn something from his new “teacher”… Take a look and tell us what you think.
If you’re a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, then you may be anxiously awaiting the third installment in the Iron Man franchise due to be released next year. The rumours surounding sets based on the film being circulated seem to be pretty well accepted as fact even though we have no official word on the subject from LEGO themselves. If we do get a series of Iron Man tie in sets similar to this years Avengers release, then each new picture and leaked bit of info could translate into LEGO form. Following up his Iron Man custom, Kaminoan shows us his version of War Machine. Sweet stuff. They both need to be lit up to complete the effect. Though, I’m not sure if lighting up hand repulsors would be humanly possible.
