7598 Pizza Planet Truck On Sale

Pizza Planet Truck On Sale

In order to celebrate the release of Toy Story 3 on DVD/BD, 7598 Pizza Planet Truck is on sale at Target stores and for $32.99 down from $39.99. This is a Target exclusive. It’s also been marked as NCF which is short for Non-Carry Forward, meaning that once it’s gone, it’s gone. Don’t hesitate to pick one up; it’s the only cheap set to get a clean Hamm and a Rex minifigs. One other cool thing about the set? The door panels are printed, not stickered! Deal expires on 11/6. They also have a bunch of other Toy Story sets on sale as well. Now there’s a third reason to go to Target.

Update: BlueDragonZ from our forums notes that you can print out a coupon for an additional $5 off in store, or use coupon code TCHD1036 for an online purchase, knocking the price down to $27.99 pretax. The coupon is also good for Hagrid’s Hut, Cad Bane’s Speeder, City Advent Calendar, City House, or Undersea Explorer. Woot!

Target Dog Bullseye Set Free With Gift Card

Still looking for that jeep set? Me too. But now you have something else to look for while at Target. According to this fatwallet forum post, you can get a free 31-piece set to build Bullseye the Target spokesdog with a purchase of a gift card. You can buy the gift card for as little as a dollar. Yep. A buck.

Many thanks to condor for the forum post.

Update: Seems Target’s policy on gift cards is that it requires a minimum purchase of $5 dollars to be loaded onto the gift card.

Stay On Target: Toy Story Jeep Found In U.S.

Collectible Figs Series 2 50% Off at Target

Collectible figs

Forum member ufjason found Volume 2 of the Collectible Minifigures at Target for 50% off the $2.99 pricetag. Since these are part of the Halloween seasonal items, it seems they qualify for the day-after-Halloween clearance. Assuming they have any left, this is a pretty sweet deal. Good luck trying to find them, but if you don’t, you can always get some cheap Halloween candy while you’re there.

[USA] Harry Potter Sets Hitting Stores Now!

The newly-revived Harry Potter sets are reportedly appearing on shelves just about everywhere. turtle1173 found them at Walmart, that guy found them at K-mart, and condor found a set at Target. I saw them at Toys R Us today (with markups, of course), so it’s safe to say they’re probably in your area. They’re already on LEGO S@H and most likely in LEGO stores as well. Here’s the set list (and LEGO S@H prices for reference):

4736 Freeing Dobby- $10.99
4737 Quidditch Match- $19.99
4738 Hagrid’s Hut- $39.99
4840 The Burrow- $59.99
4841 Hogwarts Express-$79.99
4842 Hogwarts Castle- $129.99

And don’t forget Double LEGO VIP double points all this month.

Collectible Minifigs Series 2 Found at Target

Forum members roar15 and skyward72 have found Series 2 of the Collectible minifigures at Target by the Halloween items. Makes sense I guess, since a number of these minifigs could be considered Halloween-themed. Price is $1.99, same as LEGO S@H. If you don’t have a LEGO store nearby and want to avoid paying $2.50-$2.99 at TRU, Target might be worth a visit.

LULS Darth Vader Returns

Sort of.

Vader display at Target

Spotted at his local Target, Jared Burks (Fine Clonier) of fame spotted this Light Up Lightsaber Maxifigure of Darth Vader. Not only does it light up, it moves! Apparently, there was no sound as is customary with LEGO display cases, and if there was it wasn’t very loud, at least with this unit. Jared also adds, “Helmet looked a bit cheap like a blow mold instead of solid plastic, but who cares”. Who cares indeed.
