SPARKART!’s Cars-Tuned Characters Are Delightfully Odd

I don’t know if the story on these guys is cutesy parallel dimension or horrifically hilarious toxic mutations, but either way I’d like to see more. If they end up giving me nightmares it’s my own fault anyway.

Ralph McQuarrie’s Concept R2 by SPARKART!

Star Wars Ralph McQuarrie R2-D2 Concept

This creation by SPARKART! is a fantastic monument to the original Ralph McQuarrie conceptual artwork for R2-D2. Sparky certainly likes his astromechs and makes great use of the new Death Star planet part to cap off this one, I hope he’s still got a few tricks up his sleeve because there’s nothing like a saucy rolling trashcan to put a smile on my face (It’s just an expression, I don’t actually smile).

SPARKART! has found a creepy/hilarious use for the printed Cars faces and refers to this unholy mash-up a “Cars Tuned” creation. Nice.

For the record I don’t care what Johnson thought, puns are not the lowest form of humour. Prop comedy is.

SPARKART!, creator of the greatest LEGO R2-D2 I’ve ever seen, has taken it upon himself to supply some much needed mayhem to the Superhero theme with M.O.D.O.K (Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing). The addition of a group of expendable A.I.M scientists makes great use of the LEGO HAZMAT suit. Most importantly, minifig Captain America will now have someone to throw his mighty shield at!
