The Lone Rangers Videos Explode Onto Youtube

The last of the set videos to included Erik Varszegi’s demonstations cover the new Lone Ranger theme. When I first saw these sets I was underwhelmed to say the least, but after seeing them in person with Erik’s demos I’ve changed my tune. These are the rootin’-est, tootin’-est, explodin’-est, horse on a hot train roof sets I’ve seen and I want them all. On the same note, based on all the great play features and the thought of all these wild west explosions on screen, I have even less interest in seeing the film. Watch the videos and see for yourself.

Hi-yo, Silver! Away!

Batman & Helm’s Deep LEGO Game Videos

Here are a couple of quick video looks at the the new 50011 Lord Of The Rings: The Battle Of Helm’s Deep and 50003 Batman games. I’m really stoked to get both of these and the inclusion of Nightwing and Batgirl as characters makes me hopeful of near future minifig releases. Erik and I both agreed she’ll need a new molded helmet with red hair sticking out the back. Groovy.

Legend Of Chima Videos Roar To Life

Well, more of a wimper than a roar really as my time with Erik was unfortunately short and by the time we got to Chima, I was being scooted out of the booth. I did get this quick vid of 70010 The Lion Chi Temple and a closer look at the 50006 LEGO Legends Of Chima. I’ll bet the Lion Temple will be popular with the kiddies and I’m sure folks will we disappointed that there’s no video of the Gorilla Mech. I know I am…

Star Wars LEGO Toy Fair Videos Are Live

The exclusive demonstration videos of the new Star Wars sets at the New York Toy Fair are now uploaded and ready to view over on FBTB’s Youtube channel. The demonstrations were graciously provided by Erik Varszegi and include a closer look at each set on the tail end of the videos. This process is quite time consuming, but I’ll do my best to get the rest out asap. Asap is starting to feel further and further away though. *Yawns*

75020 Jabba's Sail Barge

Rest assured, we are working on the pictures taken at the Toy Fair LEGO event today and will be posting them by theme starting with Star Wars. Keep a close eye on the Flickr stream as the pictures and Sets trickle out and we’ll be uploading videos at the end, highlighting some of the sets play features.

Put on a pot of coffee and chill the blue milk, it’s going to be a long night.

New York Toy Fair 2013 LEGO Exclusives

Toy Fair 2013 Exclusive 1

The giveaway for this years LEGO Collector’s Event is themed on the new LEGO television series and the rumour is it teases an upcoming event that will further tease reveals about the show and or marketing. It’s really hard to imagine where said event could take place… It’s the first encased mini set since 2010 and features a lot of great pieces I’d love to have parted out. FYI, that’s not going to happen.

Exclusive Darth Vader with medal

But wait, there’s more! LEGO also included a carded version of the “Employee of the Month” Vader exclusive from the upcoming Empire Strikes Out DVD. Pretty sweet. We’ll have lots of coverage coming soon, but feel free to let us know what you think of the exclusives and ask any questions. Just be patient, there’s a lot of work ahead.
