Last Trailer for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Featuring Stan Lee, New Poster

Warner Bros. Interactive released the last trailer for the game featuring a voice over by none other than Stan Lee himself. And it’s awesome. Makes me want to play the game more so than ever before. The trailer is a tad spoilery though in that shows what I consider a plot development for what I assume is the final boss battle of the game. View at your own risk.

Also, a new poster came out:

Pic of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Xbox 360 Package

20131017_133610

FBTB reader Chris sent in the above picture. It shows the package for the Xbox 360 version of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes game. What makes it interesting is that the Iron Patriot figure is now packaged inside the game instead of being handed to you with your preorder. AND you can just go to the store on Tuesday and just buy the game with the figure without having a pre-order in place. The most likely reasoning for this is that they either had too many Iron Patriots and not enough pre-orders, so stores got a small distribution of them. OR they were planning on being released at Walmart retail stores all along. In any case, if you haven’t gotten your pre-order in, there’s still time. Or you can trek on over to your local Walmart and pick one up there when it comes out on Tuesday.

My favorite screen cap has to be Superior Spider-Man. The artwork on the billboard behind ol’ webhead is just awesome.

The playable character roster for LEGO Marvel Super Hero continues to grow and today, at New York Comic Con, Arther Parsons revealed more characters for the game at the Marvel games panel.

Those characters are Power Man, Iron Fist, Havok, Polaris, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Aunt May, Taskmaster, Absorbing Man, Nightmare, Pyro, Shocker, Electro (both the comic version and the Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie rendition), Future Foundation Spider-Man,

Also, it was previously reported by Superhero Hype that Ant-Man and Black Bolt would also be playable characters.

And finally, the Thor DLC pack will include the following characters: Malekith, Kurse, Sif, Volstagg, Odin, Hogun, Fandral. and Jane Foster.

Also, if you attended the panel, you were gifted the Iron Patriot minifigure.

At this point, with over 171 characters, it would be more newsworthy to find out who DIDN’T make the cut.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Updates: Venom Big Fig, Baxter Building Gameplay

Venom Big Fig

Forbes posted a small but significant update to the upcoming LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game.

Venom: Through the power of Change.org, it seems that TT Games will be listening to its fans and include a big fig version of Venom in order to keep the character true to it’s comic book counterpart despite the petition not reaching its 500 signature minimum.

No Wii Version: There is still no Wii version, only Wii U, and that doesn’t stem from any other reason other than attrition. With support for every platform including the new(ish) Wii U, Playstation 4, and Xbox One, one platform had to be let go, and that was unfortunately the Wii.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Vehicles Revealed

lego-marvel-deadpoolscooter01jpg-e94f61

IGN published an article yesterday revealing some of the vehicles used in the upcoming LEGO Marvel Super Heroes game. They are the Deadpool Scooter, Magneto Mobile, Pumpkin Chopper, Spider-Man’s Spider Copter, X-Jet, Fantasticar, and the Cloud Rider which was designed by a 14-year-old competition winner. The design of the Cloud Rider was inspired by the lightcycles in TRON and using S.H.I.E.L.D. colors.

Xbox 360 Achievement List For LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Revealed

LMSH

Got an Xbox? Like getting achievements? You will probably dig this piece of news: the full achievement list for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes has been released for Xbox 360. There are some really great homages to comics in these achievements, some of which should provide some interesting game play tactics. Fans of the X-men comic should recognize Fastball Special without even having to read the description.

Given the deep roster list of 150 characters, I would have thought the achievement list would be longer.
