Anakin Skywalker leads the 501st Legion of clone troopers into combat on Umbara, on a mission to help other Jedi battalions capture the capital of the shadowy planet.
The preview video for “Darkness on Umbara” is up now. Finally some clones!
In absence of a new episode of The Clone Wars this week, StarWars.com has released a behind the scenes interview with Dee Bradley Baker, the voice of all the clones in the cartoon, discussing his favorite clones and giving a sneak peak at the episodes to come this season. It’s interesting how he gives each clone their own distinctive vocal pattern, making each a unique character, even though they’re, well, clones.
Poor Threepio was never cut out for a life of adventure. He’d far rather supervise the upcoming banquet for Senator Amidala, but fate conspires to throw him into danger repeatedly after the Jedi cruiser he is aboard is attacked by General Grievous.
“Nomad Droids” airs tonight at 8/7c. Watch it, then drop by the forum with your comments.
C-3PO and R2-D2’s bizarre caper continues. Forced to escape a Separatist attack in a Y-wing fighter, the droids visit the world of the Patitites, the odd planet Balnab, and the inside of a pirate warship where they are forced to fight in a gladiatorial arena.
“Nomad Droids” airs this Friday. Check out the preview in which R2 is programmed in forty-seven schools of self defense and little creatures can’t possibly damage the droids.
To assist the relief efforts on Aleen, the Republic’s 104th Battalion brings along a translator droid to communicate with the native Aleena. Clone Commander Wolffe’s patience is tested by the always chatty C-3PO.
Looks like a good one to me. Clones, C-3PO/R2-D2 antics, and a surreal journey; there’s a lot to like, especially with the last few episodes. Tune in at 8/7c and then stop by the forum afterwards.
The Clone Wars continues Friday with Mercy Mission.
After groundquakes have devastated the planet Aleen, a Republic relief effort arrives, including the droids R2-D2 and C-3PO. When the native Aleena’s pleas go unheard, it becomes the duty of the droids to embark on a surreal journey through Aleen’s subterranean world to save the planet.

Jar Jar invites his allies Padmé and Anakin to Naboo to help investigate the root of Boss Lyonie’s odd behavior. They notice an uncanny similarity between Jar Jar and Lyonie that will come in handy in undoing the damage Lyonie has done.
The preview video for “Shadow Warrior” is up. Check it out and then watch the full episode this Friday.
The Republic and Gungan forces have been captured by Riff Tamson and his Karkarodon enforcers. Now, it is up to Ahsoka and the young Prince Lee-Char to unite the fractured people of Mon Cala and drive out the Separatist invaders.
Sounds like a real winner of an episode. Catch it tonight at 8/7c then see you in the forum to complain about it afterwards!
The Rupublic and Gungan armies have been captured, and the Mon Cala enslaved. Can the young Prince Lee-Char and Ahsoka save the day?
The Clone Wars continues Friday 23 September with Prisoners, if you cannot wait check out the video preview
