LEGO Shop@Home Post-Christmas Clearance List

LEGO Shop@Home has released their post-Christmas clearance set list. Discount amount for the items listed is 20%, with only a handful of non-set items set at 50%. I organized the list and provided links below. Some of the links I was not able to verify, mostly the miscellaneous items. No prices, you’ll have to click through for that. All prices are good starting on December 25th. No exact time was given but historically all clearance items would reflect their discount starting at 12:01am EST December 25th/9pm Pacific December 24th. Discounts should be good for all regions as well. And finally, all prices are good in store as well. Many items are already in “sold out” status online, but if there are things you’re definitely hankering to pick up and have a LEGO Brand Retail store near you, it may behoove you to visit a store the day after Christmas.

Wondering what Friends sets are on clearance? You’ll have to visit Heartlake Friends for that list!

Review: 9676 TIE Interceptor & Death Star

9676 TIE Interceptor & Death Star - Overview

The final “Planet” from Series 1 may not be an actual planet, but it is possibly the most recognizable orb in all of science-fiction and it’s a love letter from LEGO to the fans. Take a good look and see if the feeling is mutual or if this one is return to sender.

LEGO Star Wars January 2012 Now Up for Preorder, Free Poster

Happy New Year, folks!

LEGO Shop@Home put up the January 2012 assortment of LEGO Star Wars for preorder. Delivery is to be expected on or around January 30. It should be noted that 9494 Anakin’s Jedi Interceptor and 9495 Gold Leader’s Y-Wing Starfighter are marked as “Hard to Find” meaning they are retailer exclusives. No word yet as to which retailer they will be exclusive to yet. All preorders will come with an exclusive LEGO Star Wars poster. No minimum order indicated and no image of what the poster looks like but if I had to guess, it’s going to be a poster showcasing all the LEGO Star Wars minifigs for 2012.

Is it sad that I’m no longer fazed by the high prices and low piece counts? Such as the TIE Fighter set, priced at $54.99 but has less pieces than Gold Leader’s Y-wing? Eh.

Official Images Of Star Wars Planets Series 1

If you’ve been waiting to get a better look at the new Star Wars Planets sets series 1, you’re in luck as Amazon.fr has posted those along with the previously posted Super Heroes (AKA Batman) sets. I’ll admit I’ve wanted these since the moment I laid eyes on the first grainy leaked pictures. I’m sure I’ll complain about the price per set and what not, but I still can’t wait to get my hands on these.

You can click the links to take a look at some different views of each set, including images of extra parts for hanging the planets and display stands with tiles/stickers detailing the set contents. I only hope these touch down in store before the end of the year, I don’t think I can wait until 2012.
