[CAN] TRU 1/2 Price Event!

Atlantis is at the end of it’s run and Toys’R’Us Canada is clearing out the largest set of the theme at half off. As a big fan of Atlantis I really enjoyed the 8078 Portal Of Atlantis set I think it’s a no brainer at $64.97. You can also score either the 8083 Rebel Trooper or 8084 Snowtrooper Battle Packs at $7.47.

At the time of this post the three sets are out of stock online, but I have little doubt you’d have trouble finding them in store if the pile I saw at my local TRU is any indication. There’s also a 25% off deal on all LEGO lights, 20% off all Pirates Of The Caribbean sets and a FREE LEGO Ninjago 3D Battle Arena with spinner with any $50 Ninjago purchase.

[UK] Asda sale on Star Wars Lego including 70% off 7929 Battle of Naboo!

Asda are very rapidly becoming the place to get Lego in the UK.  Despite these sets only just being released, they’ve decided to discount the Star Wars sets they stock by some rather nice discounts :

7929 Battle Of Naboo – RRP £25.99 – Asda Price £8

7913 Clone Trooper Battle Pack – RRP £9.99 – Asda Price £6.97

7914 Mandalorian Battle Pack – RRP £9.99 – Asda Price £6.97

7915 Imperial V-Wing Starfighter – RRP £21.99 – Asda Price £14.97

None of these sets appear to be on their website and what sets your local Asda stocks may vary.  I had to wait a few days for my local store to get any of the Battle Of Naboo sets in stock.  But today they got some, so I bought 3, leaving 9 left on the shelf.

There are some savings on older sets too :

8092 Luke’s Landspeeder – RRP £25.99 – Asda Price £18.47

8083 Rebel Trooper Battle Pack – RRP £9.99 – Asda Price £8

8084 Stormtrooper Battle Pack- RRP £9.99 – Asda Price £8

These are all available online too.

Toys R Us STAR WARS Sale 10/24-10/30

I just got the Toys R Us Weekly Flyer this morning, and the front cover is covered (heh) with Star Wars sales, including “These LEGO Star Wars Construction Sets.”

Pictured on the flyer are:

8083 Rebel Trooper Battle Pack – $11.24 ($.75 off MSRP)
8084 Snow Trooper Battle Pack - $11.24 ($.75 off MSRP)
    8093 Plo Koon’s Starfighter – $22.49 ($2.50 off MSRP)
    8096 Palpatine’s Shuttle – $48.74 ($11.25 off MSRP)

but every Star Wars set is “discounted” online. Be careful though, the 6212 X-Wing is listed as $59.99, “discounted” from $99.99, so some of the “sale” prices may not be legit.

TRU also has free shipping for all online orders $100 or more, and it’s still Bricktober, so look for the Free Retro Mini-Figure Magnet with any LEGO purchase of $20 or more. This week it’s the 1984 Castle Minifig.

They also have a “My First LEGO Set” Tub ($16.99 value) free with any LEGO purchase of $50 or more, but it doesn’t include Star Wars purchases.

EDIT: Sounds like in-stores is a little different. J30spiff reports that all Star Wars sets have a 10% discount.

New 2010 Set Listings On Amazon.de *Updated*

Thanks to super sleuthy der-soer from our forums, he’s found some listings on Amazon.de for some 2010 sets:

Thanks also to Joedward for the heads up.

Update: More digging reveals the following:

I for one cannot wait for the TIE Defender, as that is my favorite TIE ship. Looks like 2010 is off to a pretty good start.
