Review: 76004 Spider-man: Spider Cycle Chase

76004 Overview

I’ve said before that I’m no real fan of the Ultimate Spider-man cartoon, but I’m a huge Spider-man fan in general. Seeing last year’s Spidey set got me quite excited, but in the end it failed to impress me and was a real disappointment. 2013 promised two new Spider-man sets in the first half and this one in particular caught my eye the right off, but I’ve been hurt before. I needed a set to come along and make me feel again.

Amazon Sells 76005 Daily Bugle Showdown

In addition to having 76000 Arctic Batman vs Mr Freeze: Aquaman on Ice and 76004 Spider-Man: Spider-Cycle Chase (although now that I double check, the former seems to be sold out at the moment), Amazon is now stocking 76005 Daily Bugle Showdown for immediate shipment. Price is $49.99. Order today and you’ll still get free shipping in time for Christmas.

Some 2013 Super Heroes Sets In Stock at Amazon

Amazon is continuing to slowly receive stock of 2013 sets as evidenced by the news reports from the past few days. Today’s news hits the last major licensed theme to make an appearance: LEGO Super Heroes. Pictured above is 76004 Spider-Man: Spider-Cycle Chase which includes Spidey, Venom, Nick Fury, and a sweet looking hover car. Price is $19.99. The other set they have is 76000 Arctic Batman vs Mr Freeze: Aquaman on Ice, which sounds more like an ice dancing show than a playset. Price for this set is also $19.99. Order both to get your order past the free shipping threshold of $25.

Thanks go to Drock for this one.
