[UK] Argos 3 for 2 on selected Super Heroes sets

6869 Box Front

Argos has launched a 3 for 2 deal on selected Super Heroes sets and also discounted, by around 20% some of the sets too, so now’s a good chance to grab the sets if you want them.  The Argos website seems to have some difficulties in categorising everything in this deal correctly, so it’s hard to place a link to all the sets on sale!  So, here’s a link to the Quinjet set … from there you can click on the promotion, “Full Offer Details” and from there you can select to show all products in the deal!

LEGO Marvel Pre-order @ Target.com

6868 Complete

Target.com is the latest to offer the LEGO Marvel sets for pre-order and this apears to be further confirmation of the April 8th release date. I’d love to know the logic in waiting to release these sets ON EASTER instead of taking advantage of the holiday to boost sales. It seems the brick bunny will be bring these sets to only a small percentage of quick/lucky folks and the rest of us will simply have to wait. ONE. MORE. WEEK.

Thanks again to hassmyster for his vigilance/obsession.

LEGO Toy Fair 2012: Marvel Super Heroes

Toy Fair 2012 - LEGO Marvel Super Heroes - 6867 Loki's Cosmic Cube Escape - 5

The Marvel Super Heroes sets have just finished uploading. Unfortunately, due to time and space constraints, we were not able to take as many quality pictures as we wanted. Hopefully, you will still be able to glean some tasty eye candy from them.

Official Images Of Marvel Superheroes Ultrabuilds

4597 Captain America

The first official images of the Marvel half of the Superheroes Ultrabuild line have popped up online and there’s been no noticable change since we first spied Hulk (still waiting on purple pants) and Iron Man last summer. As for the addition of Captain America, I must say that that shield is boss! Honestly, I just don’t know where they’re going with this line. Here they are anyway, in all their… ummm… *sigh*.

2012 Set Lists for Super Heroes, Cars

Super Heroes Set List

Thanks to Australian toy website, Hobbyco, we now have a more complete picture of what 2012 will bring in regards to the other licensed themes. Please note that the prices you see in the screen caps above and below are in Australian dollars. Super Heroes is rounding out quite nicely with the Avengers’ Quinjet on the Marvel side, while DC’s offerings seem to be awash with Batman sets. There’s also a listing for the ‘Ultrabuild’ Hero Factory-type of Constraction sets that were shown at Comic Con. Cars doesn’t seem to be going away anytime soon much to my delight. Assuming some of these are slated for January, they should start showing up sometime in December.
