LEGO Shop@Home Post-Christmas Clearance List

LEGO Shop@Home has released their post-Christmas clearance set list. Discount amount for the items listed is 20%, with only a handful of non-set items set at 50%. I organized the list and provided links below. Some of the links I was not able to verify, mostly the miscellaneous items. No prices, you’ll have to click through for that. All prices are good starting on December 25th. No exact time was given but historically all clearance items would reflect their discount starting at 12:01am EST December 25th/9pm Pacific December 24th. Discounts should be good for all regions as well. And finally, all prices are good in store as well. Many items are already in “sold out” status online, but if there are things you’re definitely hankering to pick up and have a LEGO Brand Retail store near you, it may behoove you to visit a store the day after Christmas.

Wondering what Friends sets are on clearance? You’ll have to visit Heartlake Friends for that list!

Amazon Price Matches TRU

If you’re not keen on paying sales tax and want to take advantage of the (almost) 25% off sale at TRU, you should head on over to Amazon.com where they’ve price matched the same sets that are on sale at TRU. I just browsed a few sets, but I’m guessing all of them apply. The only drawback is that Amazon doesn’t carry the TRU exclusives, obviously, like the Toys’R’Us Truck, Skeleton Bowling, etc. Here’s the complete list of what’s on sale:

Amazon also has some $20 sets still marked down to $15:

There may be more, but these are the ones I can think of right now.

Also, I wanted to mention that the very excellent Alien Conquest 7066 Earth Defence HQ is currently priced at $71.99, netting you a savings of 20%.

Oddly enough, some things aren’t price matched like Star Wars 7965 Millennium Falcon and City 4643 Boat Transporter (they’re $112.49 and $29.99 at TRU, respectively), but they may eventually catch up and mark them down.

[UK] Argos Reduces Prices on Several LEGO Sets, Including Some Pirates of the Caribbean!

Argos in the UK have reduced several Lego sets, although it does seem a little random which ones have their prices reduced.  The pick of the bunch are the newer Pirates Of The Caribbean sets, including the above pictured Whitecap Bay set which is reduced by 39%.  Check out the full list of reduced sets here.

Sadly, no Star Wars sets feature in this mini sale.  Local stock may vary.

Review: 4192 Fountain of Youth

Full Set, in all it's somewhat tiny glory

It’s strange how a LEGO set can give away the entire purpose of a movie before you’ve seen it. Apparently, they’re all looking for the Fountain of youth. Of course, if you’ve seen the movie, you know it looks absolutely nothing like what you see in the set. The question is, is what you get worth $20?

Pirates of the Caribbean Now Available At LEGO Shop@Home

LEGO Brand Retail

Got an itch for some POTC? Got VIP points burning a hole in your virtual wallet? LEGO Shop@Home has almost the entire LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean line on sale on their site. I say almost because 4184 Black Pearl is still a no show. But, the good news is that unlike TRU online, they are selling Queen Anne’s Revenge for $119.99. Beware, but they are selling 4191 The Captain’s Cabin as 4191 Zombie Pirates. So pick your poison: Toys’R’Us, which we are not an affiliate of anymore since they kicked us (and other AFOL sites) out of their program, or LEGO Shop@Home. And if my subtle hint wasn’t enough to convince you, then you could at least be earning VIP points with S@H. Quick links below:
