Review: 4191 Captain’s Cabin

A bit sparse, lacking in a bed, chests, and even a footrest

The cheapest set in the Pirates Line, the $12 captain’s cabin, on its surface, seems to be a great deal. Three minifigures, two of the new wine bottles, and a rather awesome globe. Is this the new “must have” set, or a glorified battle pack with some parts you’ll never keep together?

Got an itch for some POTC? Got VIP points burning a hole in your virtual wallet? LEGO Shop@Home has almost the entire LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean line on sale on their site. I say almost because 4184 Black Pearl is still a no show. But, the good news is that unlike TRU online, they are selling Queen Anne’s Revenge for $119.99. Beware, but they are selling 4191 The Captain’s Cabin as 4191 Zombie Pirates. So pick your poison: Toys’R’Us, which we are not an affiliate of anymore since they kicked us (and other AFOL sites) out of their program, or LEGO Shop@Home.
