Go Podracer, Go!

The Boonta Eve Classic

Rod “2 Much Caffeine” Gillies is fighting to retain his Iron Builder title with this sweet little slice of the Mos Espa Grand Arena. A microscale vignette of the Boonta Eve Classic using battle droid torsos as podracer components seems like a perfect match to me. I can almost hear the sound of engines roaring and Greg Proops yammering on about something or other in the background.

Superman TV

I came home from work today and found this gem waiting in my Flickr contacts and even though it’s already making the rounds online, I wasn’t willing to chance it going unseen by our growing group of LEGO supefans. 2 Much Caffeine has really created something special with this treadmill-run side scrolling super TV and you should check out the video to see it in action.

I find it funny that this little wonder recycles backgrounds less than the cartoons it’s most likely inspired by.

Joker Makes A Withdrawl…

Joker makes a withdrawal...

2 Much Caffeine takes his battle with Lino to the streets of Gotham with this great bank robbing scene. I love the bank, but what drew my attention oddly enough was the use of the Exo-Force hairpiece on the Joker. It reminds me of the bare-foot, dreadlocked Joker from the cartoon ‘The Batman’.
