This model is part of what I call my "Episode 3 Collection", refering to 5 models I completed in a very short time for a movie theatre lobby Episode 3 display. This is the V-wing; proof positive George Lucas gives less than a wamp rat's hinder about EU.


This model is smack on classic UCS scale, though I must confess that's by accident, not design.


Wings, wings, everywhere! I'm guessing the wings fold down somehow, to make landing possible, but since I have no idea how the fold, mine don't move.


I suspect my version might be a tad on the flat side, but since it looked more like a classic JSF than anything else, that's how I built it.


The interior, and perhaps my favorite part of the model; the seat. I used my enlarged UCS R-2 design again too. You can sort of see him there behind his inexplicable shieldy wingy things.


And that's that. I'll be very surprised if LEGO doesn't eventually give us a system version of this. It might not have a lot of screen time, but it's a neat looking little fighter.
