This, Ladies and Gents (aw, who am I kidding, it's just gents) is the FIFTIETH custom in my FBTB gallery! In case you're wondering what gift to send, 50 is the Golden Anniversary, so gold LEGO coins will do just fine! Anyway, this is my UCS version of the suspiciously taxi-like airspeeder from Episode 2. I decided to do this one after seeing Jack Swiftly's version. I checked and found out how big it is; 6.6 meters gave me a lot of room to differ from the system model while staying in my chosen scale.


My main goal was to make it look shapely and curvy, like the original.



The engines gave me a chance to do some fun detailing and greeble work, which is rare in prequel models.

I liked the plunging shot on Swiftly's model so much, I had to have one of my own. This angle shows one of my favorite features; the angled side fins in their funky unique shade of orange. Anyway, hope you've enjoyed this, and my other 49 customs as well.
