
You don't really get to see it elsewhere, so here's a quick shot of the canopy construction.

Here's the construction of the nose pieces, and how they attach to the body. It's quite a bit more solid than you might think.

The gun. This was quite a challenge. You're probably wondering why I didn't do something simple with plates holding it together. The answer
is that there's no room. It attaches to the body via the one stud that's facing us.

Which fits into dark grey jumper plate shown area. It's attached to the bottom of a 1x2 technic brick with holes. The studs from the
brown slopes on either side fit into the holes. As you can see, with the tan bracket removed, the whole thing is sandwiched together
around 2 black technic liftarms.

Here's the inside of the underside. Pretty standard stuff. Using the 1x2(and a bit) bricks with studs on all sides allows me to
attach the halves of each ship section to each other, AND stick the border layer on.
