The goal here was to build the B-wing completely symmetrical. Not like the official set with studs on one side and holes on the other. The way this is accomplished is a central spine with mirrored halves attached to either side. The result is surprisingly sturdy.


You can probably see that pretty much everything has been entirely rebuilt.


The most extensive change (aside from the blue) is the shape of the main wing, which I had completely wrong before.


I had to paint quite a few parts grey. They didn't exactly match (in fact they're closer to "very light grey" which I used here as well) but I kinda like the effect of having them off color.


Here's you can see some of the gratuitous detail on the back of the main wing.


I took something of a gamble on the sand blue. I wasn't sure how it'd look in large quantities until after I ordered it. I'm quite pleased. It doesn't look nearly as "boo-berry" as I'd feared.
