Over 1,400 pieces make up this $99.99 USD set, and you'll be able to buy it in October. This, along with the Haunted House and the B-wing, is going to make October one expensive month. This set looks like it will be a lot of fun, a lot of neat details. Thinking this will be my first Winter set and I'm digging that chainsaw, Husqvarna? An expensive October for sure since I am commited to grabbing a B-wing. This might have to wait till November. Son and I will be at Brick Fair on Saturday, should be a good time.

I love the set, but it's clear that Jamie is really selling it. "You get ALOT...like...SO much...whole bunch of things and details for your $100"

Yeah you can tell when a set isn't something they designed themselves because self-imposed modesty goes out the window and they switch into used car marketing mode.

He still hasn't sold me on that awful looking igloo. If I ever get this that would go right into the parts bin.

Yeah, videos are blocked at work which is why I possibly didn't even realize there was a video to watch. I guess I'll have to check that out at home some night if I remember.

I bought the winter village cottage, back around Black Friday. Had to pay full MSRP because I never did see it on sale anywhere in Canada last year. However I am glad I grabbed it, because it sold out completely somewhere around that time and it hasn't been back in stock since. Most likely retiring now.

I do hope going forward in this winter village line that they can return the size and price point back to around where the toy shop, bakery and post office were. The cost and size of the last two sets are too much IMO, for a seasonal annual set that people/families would want to tend to add piece at a time to a growing display.
