LEGO.com Reveals Hi-res Images for LEGO Star Wars March 2014 Sets

75030 Millennium Falcon 1

LEGO.com updated their LEGO Star Wars section with all of the March 2014 releases. Normally, new Star Wars products launch in January but this is the first time in the history of the line that it will be launching in March due to The LEGO Movie products being pushed out in time for the film's February theatrical debut. A total of 19 new products will launch including a brand new sub-theme, "Microfighters" also known as "Recruitment Sets". The Micorfighters fill the gap that the now-discontinued Planet sets left behind. The majority of the regular line focuses on Episode III sets while most of the Microfighters are based on Original Trilogy ships. We've rehosted the images below for your convenience. Pricing remains to be seen. All new LEGO Star Wars products will launch in March.

This is not universally true geographically speaking :)
I just purchased 75046 and am building it right now - the gunship may look like a flying pig but she is a beautiful build. BTW all the first wave of 2014 sets are available in the German S@H.

Cheers,
Tobias

In some of these images, there are what look like new translucent antennas. Does anyone know if they are part of a new missile / flick fire system?

All products are available in Europe and I have already seen those sets in the Lego Shop @ Wijnegem (Belgium)

The Microsets are 9.99 Euro here in Germany. All the sets came out last month.

The Microsets are pretty cool and I would definitely grab a few of those. The Kashyyyk minifigs could be useful and the Police Gunship looks interesting, but the rest just seems like a bunch of battle packs and regurgitation of old sets. I guess every year we'll get another Jedi Interceptor or Jedi Fighter, cause we all need a dozen of each.

LEGO has declared all-out war on our eyes in 2014 with two new ways to shoot them out.

Little hand blasters for the figs and the big missile shooters seen in these pics.

I'm still shocked they finally managed to make a Han Solo figure that actually looks like Harrison Ford.

Every year in the beginning of the year TLG releases a bunch of cheap sets with a couple larger sets, and proceeds to release the more expensive sets in further releases. And every year i hear complaints about how there is a bunch of cheap sets in the beginning of the year. Not all of us are made of money. I for one am grateful that there are some cheap sets being pushed after the xmas rush of huge sets. I could use a few Salucemi sets and battle packs to go easy on my wallet. I can't be the only one who sees how marketing works. TLG knows that the holiday rush taps people out so they push smaller sets that people may buy on impulse.

I understand your point, but I guess my rub is those vehicles are pretty much the same thing we've already seen multiple times. Sure, there are a few tweaks but basically it is peddling minifigs. I am an atypical SW Lego buyer, but to me, if I was a kid and I wanted action figures, I would buy something from Hasbro.

I saw most of these today in TRU in Hong Kong. Microsets were 100 HKD = $12.90 USD. I will check out our local merchants soon because they are usually cheaper than TRU.

They are a new type of missile, replacing flick fire. viewtopic.php?f=8&t=9944

They're not replacing flick-fires, just expanding them. You can see the old style in the battle packs and the Micro sets.
If the above post didn't offend you, you're probably reading it wrong.
