Black Friday Specials 2013

Postby ufjason » Tue Nov 12, 2013 10:22 am

These are some highlights from my research.

Target will have the Forest Police Station for $50.

Walmart will have a Duplo 85pc and junior (printed eye bricks) 600pc bucket for $15. They'll also have Marvel Superheroes on all systems for $25!

Kmart has a lot of 25% off specific sets and bogo 50% deals on TMNT, SW an one other theme.

TRU has several 35% off promotions and some special price drops including the new Town Square for $75 ($119.99 msrp), RGS $80 and Malevolance $90
eBay store, contact me if you'd like to perform trades from my inventory. I'm looking for original genosian fighers, second version a-wing fighters and tie bombers. I may be interested in other sets so let me know what you have.

Black Friday LEGO Deals

Postby Staff » Mon Nov 25, 2013 2:10 am

Like last year, I've taken the time to compile a list of all of the Black Friday LEGO deals from most of the major retailers.

There aren't a lot of great deals to be had. Most of them revolve around the LEGO video games and the deals that are available as of this writing are almost not worth leaving the house for in my opinion. There is one notable exception to this list and that is LEGO Shop@Home's deals which haven't been communicated yet. I'll be updating this post throughout the week though as more retailers publish their deals, so bookmark it or keep checking back.

goHastings.com

Deals start at 1pm on Thursday.

  • LEGO Batman 2 (Wii, Xbox 360, PS3, 3DS): $14.99

  • LEGO Batman 2 (Wii U): $29.99

  • LEGO Harry Potter (Xbox 360): $14.99

  • LEGO Lord of the Rings (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii): $14.99

  • LEGO Minotaurus (3DS): $14.99

Toys'R'Us

Stores open at 5pm Thursday. Spend $75 or more and get $10 gift card.

* Please note that TRU increases their markup over MSRP the closer it is to Christmas. The percent off deals may sound tempting, but be aware of actual MSRP to compare against the discounted price.

  • LEGO Batman The Movie: DC Superheroes Unite w/ Lego Mini Fig (DVD) $4.99

  • LEGO Star Wars 75021 Republic Gunship: $79.99 (MSRP: $119.99)

  • LEGO Star Wars 9515 The Malevolence: $89.99 (MSRP: $119.99)

  • Buy 1 Get 1 40% off all video games that do not have the "R" Superbuy sticker.

Walmart

Walmart stores open 6pm on Thursday. Don't get trampled.

  • LEGO Marvel Super Heroes: $25 (all systems)

  • LEGO Bucket or LEGO Duplo Bucket: $15 (I have no idea which bucket it is. The ones pictured in the Black Friday ad don't match up with anything at Shop@Home).

  • LEGO City The Chase Begins (3DS): $25.00

  • LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes: $15 for Wii U, $10 for all other systems

  • LEGO Lord of the Rings: $10 (Xbox 360, Wii)

The $15 Walmart Lego bucket appears to be Bricks & More 4628, 600 pieces: http://shop.lego.com/en-US/LEGO-Fun-with-Bricks-4628

Thanks for putting this together, guys.

$80 Republic Gunship at TRU w/ $10 gift card seems like the best deal out of all of them.

Walmart is matching Black Friday specials on a lot of these items, and you can order now, use Pick Up Today, and run off without having to deal with the herd of idjits on Friday.
If the above post didn't offend you, you're probably reading it wrong.

The Lego store is not doing the scratch off percent off cards this year. instead Year they have these pull off cards that give you a prize anything from a Key-chain to $1000 SHOPPING SPREE. I found This out the VIP event this last weekend I won a keychain My brother that tagged along won a $20 set.

Bummer. This is probably the worst news of all. I was waiting for Black Friday to pick up Ewok Village, but maybe I should have just gotten it the day of Triple VIP points. That sounds like it would have been the better deal and no crowds. Bleh.

OMG Amazon 'Lightning Deals' is killing me...I click on add to cart the second it clicks over and still miss out....I get the feeling this is traders snapping up as much as they can for resale...sigh, screw Amazon, I'm off to fight some hordes at a bricks and mortar store! >:(

Thanks for the tip on Walmart. They had an awesome spread of Star Wars and LotR sets (here in San Diego, CA). Wallet definitely lighter.
