This is my first time I will be entering in a FBTB contest, and I was wondering; when it says no cut elements allowed, does that include flex tubing? I know this is a hotly disputed debate among purists and customizers alike, but Ive been told by a trusted source that flex tubing has even been cut in an official LEGO set, which in my opinion makes it purist. So if you could just clarify if cut flex tubing is allowed that would be great.

I've bought at least one set that required you to cut flex tube, so technically it's fine.

The armor's too thick on the VWAT-VWAT, Dack! Aim for the hippies!

This just seemed so obvious when I saw the contest announcement. More pics in the set http://www.flickr.com/photos/murphquake ... 355815307/

I've been lurking for awhile, I figured I'd finally join the site since this is a really fun contest.

I have to make a better one now...using only one hand!
Thought you'd like this about the Vatican cameos.

You can make all the changes you want until the deadline, after that the thread is locked and any changes will disqualify you.

Ok I'm gonna push the "all the changes you want" policy and re-post my other (preferred) creation:

I give you Slave-VW.

These get better with every iteration. Keep focusing on the camel-walkers boys. ;)

These are great and all, but I hope this contest doesn't turn out to be 90% ATATs.

I guess I'll be the first to break the trend of AT-ATs.

Hold onto your hats, here's a VW-wing Starfighter!

C'mon! Beaten to the punch again! There's only one (notable design) difference between mine and these... :/

This is the first contest I've ever entered here, and I have a question: Are we allowed to modify our entry after we've posted it?

If I want to make changes I should edit the original post right?

yes. edit your original post. making another post will count as an additional entry and will disqualify you.
