"Minifig scale" is a joke, they only worry about what looks best for the task at hand. That's how you end up with system cars ranging from this
. The scale they went with is fine. That's not the problem. It's the detailing, which I think they could have done better even within the handbook and at that size.
And yes, actually, Lego absolutely can say no to every Cuusoo project that comes along. That's part of the deal. They aren't obligated to do anything and if they didn't like the ideas coming through they would just shut the thing down. And like I already said about the unlimited votes, it's not like picking one means shunning another. Vote for both. Vote for everything you even sort of like. Not supporting a model you like because you think Lego veto it is ridiculously pessimistic, even by my standards. You have literally nothing to lose by voting for it and everything to gain. Even if it turns out different from the design you wanted to see made you won't be forced to buy the final product if it makes it through. Your thought process confounds me. It's like you're missing the point of Cuusoo entirely.
Thanks for taking the time to respond to my thoughts.
No need to explain further what i think about the "minifig scale",obviously you don't care about this subject and i care a lot as you can see from my lego work, so we see it from very different angle.
About CUUSOO, let me say first that i hate the whole project, i don't want to argue about its methods, i hate it, i visit it to see what's going on there cause unfortunately it is a big part of our community and that's all. My brief opinion about it is that it started as a clever promo thing, but the way they run it after all these project disapprovals shows disrespect for all those adding their lego projects and those wasting time to vote for them. If i were them I would shut down the whole project before it turns into bad advertisement.
I'm amazed that you think that TLG can disapprove any project. If they do that it will ruin the project, don't you see that if they keep doing that the displeased people will be more than the pleased ones? Everywhere, in everything there can be statistical approach, TLG may say they can disapprove any project but doesn't mean they can actually do it, they have to approve some (one or two, per years it seems to be the pattern) in order to keep things working. If not they will ruin the project and turn it against them cause many people can see it as disrespect (i already see it as disrespect) of the public opinion, the opinion that this project is supposed to satisfy.
