2013 Hallmark ornament

Well it looks like after two years of imperial forces we get our first jedi. This one does not have the maquette feel like the other two did and looks more like a lego minifig. Though the head does freak me out a little.Image

you know what's funny is that i wrote that thing on the front page about being a completionist and all but i never got around to picking up last year's stormtrooper. i blame the newborn on that one.

The only geeky ornament I've ever bothered to get from Hallmark was Ecto 1, and the hassle I put up with working with the local store that carried it pretty much broke me from ever trying to collect them.

My issue with these is that they were basically just statues when I looked at them. Would have been nice for them to be more LEGO-y, and not just LEGO-looking.
If the above post didn't offend you, you're probably reading it wrong.

Another Clone Wars Yoda (yuck!). Why must everyone pose him with a lightsaber now? It gets frustrating. Hallmark, and others, are routinely selling items that depict Original Trilogy characters but then ruin them by including this (ugly/creepy) version of Yoda. Well, this will save me some money to put towards actual LEGO sets.

I remember reading awhile ago that there would be Yoda and Jango Fett this year. Maybe the Jango idea got dropped when Clones: 3D was dropped as well.

I've never picked up any of these yet and I don't plan to get this one. But maybe Darth Vader this year if they still have him...
Thought you'd like this about the Vatican cameos.
