TMNT Alternate Model Instructions

Postby Staff » Tue Mar 19, 2013 10:38 pm

Looking for more TMNT sets? Well, we're all out of luck there. But LEGO's done possibly the next best thing and have created PDF instructions for alternate models for each set. Unfortunately, there is no such file for 79103 Turtle Lair Attack which is a little puzzling. 488 pieces and they couldn't come up with anything? Download the entire zip file (about 15mb) and get re-building!

I really love what they did with the shell raiser. I also enjoy the small pizza delivery boat. (Correct me if I am wrong, but that's a pizza delivery boat, right?)

Nice, I like the Hot Rod build the best, if I had that set, I'd build the Hot Rod immediately, and skip the Shellraiser.

Do these alternate builds use every piece available? Or is it like the crappy Kre-O figures that when you transform, there are extra pieces. >8(

Wow, (some of) these models don't suck too bad. @Gooker1, I'm going to go out on a limb and say not every part is used. You got your cake and now you want to eat it too?

These are really cool. I like the Shellraiser car, Baxter scorpion, but most of all, I love the little boat! The Steath Buggy thing looks terrible and the Shredder bumper car is eh. I'm going to try to build all of them anyway. :D
