It is so odd that the Sears site would have it up with that preliminary picture. (Love the blond Gandalf!)

Yet there it is. Wonder how long it will stay up. It seems like it MUST be a mistake to have it up already, and with that picture.

Mouth of Sauron and eagle...sweet as bee pollen. No battle troll though that would have been most welcome.

Strange that the eagle has so little detail compared to the other animals we've seen lately, eg. the horses or the wargs.
That having been said, having some of these guys in gray, perched on top of a building, would look awfully nice...

Remember that is still a preliminary picture, meaning the eagle most likely won't look like that. Always wait for the final pictures.

That's a nicer pic of the minifigs than I had seen. This leaves me wondering what Gandalf the white and Sauromans staff will look like. I keep meaning to buy a couple of the more detailed Gandalf the Grey staffs that you can put a crystal in from brickforge for the display.

Only getting one Frodo is a plus. Getting 2 more identical Gimlis is the only real negative I see. I don't mind getting 2 Aragorns as long as they are different...even if one is the same as what we already have. Many great figs there. I'm excited for these.

I wouldn't hold your breath. I reckon they'll just be white and black versions of Gandalf the Grey's staff=/ though I think Saruman's could benefit from one of those four pronged lantern holder pieces and Gandalf's at the very least could have a white cone on top.

They must be pushing Gimli to make the new pieces made for him worthwhile.
