LEGO [email protected] Post-Christmas Clearance List

Postby Staff » Sun Dec 23, 2012 3:50 am

LEGO [email protected] has released their post-Christmas clearance set list. Discount amount for the items listed is 20%, with only a handful of non-set items set at 50%. I organized the list and provided links below. Some of the links I was not able to verify, mostly the miscellaneous items. No prices, you'll have to click through for that. All prices are good starting on December 25th. No exact time was given but historically all clearance items would reflect their discount starting at 12:01am EST December 25th/9pm Pacific December 24th. Discounts should be good for all regions as well. And finally, all prices are good in store as well. Many items are already in "sold out" status online, but if there are things you're definitely hankering to pick up and have a LEGO Brand Retail store near you, it may behoove you to visit a store the day after Christmas.

Wondering what Friends sets are on clearance? You'll have to visit Heartlake Friends for that list!

Star Wars

Super Heroes

Harry Potter

Pirates of the Caribbean

Lord of the Rings

Spongebob Squarepants

Bricks & More

Hero Factory

Monster Fighters

Zombies went out pf print way early here, its already double the price in the secondary market and I've checked every lego store and target around and none of them have had any in weeks.

I'm a little disappointed there's only a 20% discount. If you purchased on Black Friday weekend, you already got at least a 10% discount, and the free pick-a-brick container. If 30% discount, I think I'd jump at. But 20% doesn't seem like that great a deal to me. IMO. :S

Lego has definitely gotten smarter on their clearance prices....they know these sets will sell out eventually. In the past, seems like most clearances were ATLEAST 50%, some at 90% (I remember picking up several $10 NBA sets for $1 on S&H years ago, or the 9v track sets for $4.24 instead of $13)

20% is a good deal if you were already going to purchase the set, but otherwise, probably worth passing on.
Don't you waste away, for tomorrow will soon be today

Hmm...looks like they might have to drop the price a little more on 7877 before they sell out. I'd probably pick one up for $25, maybe even $30. Its a nice model and all, but already having the previous incarnation of the N-1 - which this one really didn't improve on enough to warrant the inflated price-tag, imho - drops my interest level quite a bit.

Never thought I'd say this, but maybe they should stop making so many Star Wars sets every year, so they can focus on making just a few, really good sets, rather than a bunch of "ho-hum" sets and rehashes. ... though they won't, of course, because of the money$ :)
