(US) 7962 Star Wars Anakin's and Sebulba's Podracers $30

Printed in this week's Target ad is 7962 at $30. The online price is $66.50, but the stores usually honor their printed ad prices. Must be a mistake because it's listed with a couple other smaller sets as also being $30, but regardless, it seems to be on a pretty big sale.

It's a misprint. The set that is on sale for $30 is Anakin's Jedi Interceptor.

This would have been a great Set to Draft ... which is what I was about to post in the Forums ... until I read the above.

Oh well ... both Targets near me didn't have any in stock anyway. So much for that idea.

Here's hoping someone gets one for $30.00 .... cause that will be a tremendous purchase.

That's surprising that your wal mart even had them b/c most of them were discounted or clearanced out weeks ago.

YMMV, but definitely talk to your Targets if your local store has them in stock. My local Target honored their ad even though it's a misprint. As of this morning, nothing was sent from corporate about the set or misprice, so they honored it.

The manager said there was not price correction notice in their inbox or on their displays for ads.

Yeah, mine clearanced them out, too. Looked they had 2 cases of them today.

No luck at any Target. All out of stock. But got the price match at Walmart.

Did they hassle you? The cashier didn't want to do it. She said, "I'm going to get a manager." The manager barely shrugged his shoulder and did the override.

Same. Cashier was fine with it, but thought it was a really big discount so she called the manager over. Manager just signed off in it right away.

Target had the TIE on the shelf for the online discounted price. Glad to see Amazon match the price, so if I decide to get more than the 4 I already have, I can save on tax. I did not see a Podracers at Target....or at one of my 4 Walmarts. Might make a trip to TRU tomorrow to try and get the price match...hmmm....we shall see.

i tried getting tru to price match tonight, but apparently an email went out to store managers stating not to honor the target ad. i suppose i would have had better luck if it was earlier in the day when it was more crowded, or gotten someone who was more inept.
