I've finally figured out what it is that the speeder from 75001 reminds me so much of:



Count on HJR to have actually recreated this obscure little toy in LEGO.

Funny that its in-universe designation actually is a "Watchman speeder"; until I stumbled across the above picture I kept thinking back to Nite Owl II's hoverbikes.
