79102 Stealth Shell in Pursuit, 79103 Turtle Lair Attack Revealed

Postby Staff » Wed Oct 17, 2012 12:53 am

Danish website Brixit posted images of the box art for two upcoming TMNT sets, 79102 Stealth Shell in Pursuit, above, and 79103 Turtle Lair Attack, below. Gonna take a wild guess and say Splinter will only be available through the Lair set.

Thanks to Anonymous Tipster for the tip.

Two sets with Raph, two sets with Leo, one set with Mikey, HEY! when are they gonna show a set with Donny? Maybe it will be a nice cheap $10 set and I will be able to get my favorite turtle for a great price. The number of flick fires in that stealth shell pursuit set is ridiculous. I am going to be glad when the preposterous over-use of flick fires is in the past.

LOL - only 6 flick fires in two small vehicles. :)

I like the two sets! They look pretty cool IMO. And yes, even though I love Raph, I'd like to see the other turtles. At least there are multiple facial expressions among the turtles. :)

That lair looks lame to me. what has happened to that spiral staircase? It wasn't best in the HArry Potter sets, but this stripped down version looks a little sad.

Corners have been cut.

I don't think this is a great license, but it seems like it's an expensive one. I haven't seen any sets in ages that i think are exciting beyond the inclusion of specific minifigs.

Sad
