What happened to Star Wars?

I've been waiting for a Star Wars contest. I don't know what all this Justice League stuff is, this is "From Bricks to Bothans."

I mean, I like diversity as much as the next guy, but I can't be the only one who likes building space ships, and not technicolor vehicles for Saturday-morning cartoon characters who's powers eliminate the need for a vehicle.....

It's all about timing. We were set to run a straight laced Star Wars contest between Wings of Justice and Mech Madness, but Lego asked us to do one featuring their movie maker app and provided those boss prizes so we postponed it. Ended up turning us into all comics all the time since the last podracer contest. But worry not. We have that idea lined up as our next contest and others in the planning stages.

In the mean time, you know, you can build Star Wars things without a contest... just throwing that idea out there.

The surge of creativity stemming from the movies and TV series from last decade is cooling. The true SWU fans will remain. We might see a resurge with the 3D releases. But without new material only the die hards will remain. So drifting into lateral themes during a cool down isn't surprising to maintain website activity. Though I would have gone with an SWU vs Heros Contest.

Looks to me like the name on the front page of the site is FBTB, so really it can be whatever you want it to be. I'm still holding out for a "From Bricks to Bargains" theme.
