3920 The Hobbit Game Found On Shelf

Huw over at Brickset is reporting that the Hobbit game has been found on store shelves. The store? TRU. The price? $34.99. I guess the question now is does the board game have a sneak preview of upcoming sets based on the movie? If you find the game, let us know!

This game seems like such a missed opportunity. I can always hope for another Hobbit-based game, I suppose. To have the only one be a glorified version of Memory seems such a waste...

(But I second wanting to know if it gives previews of more Hobbit sets. I was so impressed with the first one we got to see, that my expectations are quite high!)

looking back, i think a heroica game type for a hobbit or a lotr game would have been the direction to go. i hope this game sells well enough for LEGO to consider doing another for the license.

There is no pics of the new sets, but the new sets will be revealed at NYCC on the 11th October

I can confirm seeing these on the shelves at Walmart in Eastern Canada.
