LEGO Store Lord of the Rings Scavenger Hunt

I received this email earlier today and posting it here in case you didn't. In a nutshell, you can participate in a LOTR-themed scavenger hunt inside your local LEGO store with a wide range of activities. The link to print your own map of Middle-earth seems to be broken, but hopefully it will be up soon. Other than the hunt, you have a chance to win a free LOTR set. It may not be the Build-a-Bilbo scavenger hunt at ComicCondor, but it's probably worth checking out if you have kids and need something to do. The promotion lasts through August 5th.

My 2 boys and I did it.
Here's how it works:
1. Hold your printed map up to the view screen and watch the custom animation of Frodo and Gandalf
2. Build a Frodo Sword (Sting) out of Lego. (You can purchase it for $5.99)
3. Find and count the number of Uruk-hai hidden in the circular window display cases
4. Find the image of Frodo in the Pick a Brick containers
5. Answer 3 LOTR questions
6. Fill out the form for the weekly drawing for a Lego LOTR product
7. Receive your free gift of a Lego LOTR sticker sheet (1 of 2)

I haven't downloaded the pics of what we did but I thought I'd post this before it's over.

Was at the LEGO store in Phoenix a few days ago, and the find-the-Uruk-Hai-in-the-store-windows was hilarious. There's just something insanely funny about seeing a little Uruk-Hai in a Duplo Zoo display.
