And the 10% only works on a handful of sets (in fact it may only be the Maersk).

Target clearances on Legos have been pretty disappointing lately. This season especially, there are very few sets discounted. Remainder of POC and HP being clearanced - but mostly only smaller sets are left. Those sets that are discounted have only been 10% or so. Not even 15%. Everything else in the toy section is 30% off. Not sure if the discounts will jump suddenly, or drag out.

Another trend I have seen at Target is the steep mark-up followed by the 30% discount. I've seen this on a number of sets in store like the Geonosian Fighter set, marked at $36.99 and then discount 30%. How very TRU of them.......

With that said, our local Targets started clearance mark downs about two weeks ago and I have yet to see anything hit the 50% discount with the lone exception being the PoC Black Pearl set (marked up to $119.99 and then discounted 50% so even that wasn't a true 50% off).

I had no idea, was just going off the "regular" target price of 152.99 they had posted so it seemed like a good deal!

I noticed this last week, I found a 34.99 Forest dog van set marked up to 42 and change and then had 50% off. It's not at all stores but the stores that seem to typically mark up sets a few dollars. Still a good deal but definitely a kbtoys thing to do.

I picked up an 8098 Clone Turbo Tank on clearance at Target for $83.98. They also had the 7964 Republic Frigate for $83.98

The Anakin's and Sebulba's Podracers has been clearanced down to $66 at the stores but isn't too easy to find at the moment. The Black Pearl set is still $120 at my local Target. The Naboo Fighter set is a great deal as it's still $50 at the store. Really not that many deals at all. Likewise, Walmarts are holding everything at regular prices and are fully stocked.

The Target deals in the Houston area are hit and miss. Each store either has NO lego on clearance or quite a few items. I found a 7965 for 102.00 at one target and 149 at another.
