Why don't I start. Most recently: I have a friend going to college and he decided to sell me all his LEGO. I paid him $135 and got the following(I don't have a Flickr :x , but if you look on LEGO.com in Star Wars creations, and look me up you can find some pics, I also have all my Star Wars MOC's on there, I would love criticism!): Jango Fett's Slave I(complete), Millennium Falcon (2003,complete), TIE Intercepter (complete), Republic Gunship (missing Jedi Bob), ARC-170 Starfighter (2005,complete), Wookie Catamaran (complete), Wookie Attack (complete), Cantina (2004? appears complete), quite a few Exo-Force mechas, and every Dino Attack set (complete) except for the smallest (quad?). I also have the instructions and what appears to be a complete Rock Raiders HQ, and about 25 small sets I have yet to build. There is also a 66 quart Sterlite tub, about half full... XD wonder what else I'll find!

Wow! That's either a very good friend, who was aware of the unbelievable deal they were giving you but did it anyway because of your friendship, or a not so good friend who will be even less of one if they ever discover how badly you took them to the cleaners on that transaction. ;)

I told him it was worth a lot more than what I gave him...he wouldn't take any more. It's true :)

I can believe it. I have friends that would likely do the same. Unfortunately, I DON'T have any friends looking to get rid of a bunch of LEGO (or even any that have THAT much good stuff in the first place). Ah well.

No. Just... no. This entire forum is about sharing information on sales or clearance stuff for everyone else, not a measuring contest for things you find that are one-offs.
You know, if I see links to Brickshelf, more often than not, the first thing I click is the "Back" button.
