(SW) Hoth Hangar

This is a little something my son and I built the other day. Please feel free to leave any comments or criticisms. Thanks for taking a look.

My 5 year old son built these figures for the set. From left to right: C3-PO, R2-D2, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca, random pilot and random droid.

that's cute.
But maybe you could make the walls and floor less 'clean' and 'smooth'?

I was thinking the same thing. I like the idea, but it's basically just a shadow-box. It should be more jagged and haphazard, and feel a lot more crowded.
If the above post didn't offend you, you're probably reading it wrong.

Thanks for the replies and your thoughts. I was thinking the same thing while I was building it. This was mainly a play set for my son. I guess I will just have to build another version.

Nice collection of ships, I'm sure he's enjoying the play set. I had to pause and think about what the clips were about on the figures. It's a common formula for mini and microfigures, but I haven't seen that variation with the "feet". I guess when you are at age, you get a different perspective, and feet and footwear is a detail you really notice.

Thanks for the comment sparkart. He/we are having a ot of fun playing with the set. I was pretty amazed when he showed me the little guys he made. I agree about how different a childs perspective is.
