Toys 'R' Us Discounts LEGO Batman 2 + Free Shipping

Toys 'R' Us is currently offering the upcoming LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes at a surprisingly decent discount of 25% off. On top of that, they're offering free shipping on pre-orders. There's no telling how long this will last and there's no bonus minifigure or downloadable characters, but if you prefer to save money, this deal might be the better choice (it's tough, I know). Oh, and PC users, you'll have to look elsewhere for a deal. Toys 'R' Us doesn't list that version. Then again, neither does Gamestop. The game is available on Xbox 360, PS3, PS Vita, Wii, DS, 3DS, and releases June 19th.

I hope we don't get another instance like with Harry Potter 2, where issues with their stupid DRM delay the PC version by weeks.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. It isn't listed at Amazon either. I found it at walmart.com and bestbuy.com at full price, though. Both sites list a June 19th release for the game (all versions), as does TRU, so I'm not really clear on which date is accurate, the 1st or the 19th. Edit: Looks like it's June 19th.

Another FYI for folks, Amazon half-heartedly price-matched the game on the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, so that's another money-saving option.

Checking TRU the PS3 (and XBox 360 if that floats your boat) is only $37.49, that's pretty good deal.

I preordered mine from Gamestop and will probably stick with it to get the exclusive Lex Luthor minifig, but the TRU offer is very tempting.

I would buy the TRU version if I think I could buy a Lex on eBay for less than the diference of retail, but I don't think Lex will go cheap on eBay. Gamestop for me!

Amazon has dropped the Wii version to $29.99, matching TRU and joining the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions ($37.49).
