[podracer] It could be carried by an african swallow

So when I was contemplating my pod racer design, I tried to think of two objects tied together flying in a line carrying a third object. Clearly I came up with that meaningless debate, held between King Arthur and the sentries on the wall, can a swallow carry a coconut? I based the pods off Teamto pagalies, putting a blue cover over the greeble engine parts. I wanted the wings and tail to swing open, so I worked those in as airbrakes. The "coconut" also has an all white interior.
I hope I achieved a good balance between podracer and swallow/coconut. This increased my skills as a builder, and I had a great time putting this together. :D

P.S. I had never known what a swallow looked like before this, actually its a very pretty bird. :)

Great work!

This is probably the most 'fun' of the podracers I've seen. Not only do you borrow from an epic movie, but you do it with great detail. The engines are almost perfect birds! Great work!

Even without the top tier geek reference those engines would be a great entry, but you put it over the edge. Well played sir.

I was thinking that the pods didn't look much like birds because of the color, but then someone linked me to this:

Ingenious and inspired, I really like it, especially the coconut! Man can go so far when inspired by nature, and you've proven the point to a T. All the best!

Nice. I love the entire thing, and patsy is a nice addition! It's way too hard to guess who'll win this competition.

Thank you everyone and glad you like it. :D
I have replaced the pic at the top with the contest entry, and have officially entered into contest thread. XD
There are an amazing amount of excellent pods, and wish the best of luck to everyone.

I agree with everyone else. The pod as is, is a great piece of work. I like the tail flaps as it seems like that's what you'd have to build into a racer for control. The engines are nice and sleek and the cockpit area matches the engine in detail and scale. Then when you throw on the inspiration for the build it is very well executed.
