Wait a second, everyone made such a big deal that certain elements had to be pulled from the toyfair exhibition, and all they pulled were the generic baddies and their dinky air-surfboards? Surely that doesn't reveal anything about the upcoming Avengers movie.

Am I missing something?

Just the major spoilers!

No, no. You're not missing anything. Unless I'm missing something, too. I guess we live in an age when ultra generic movie bad guys are somehow worth keeping secret over.

I was kinda disappointed Wolverine didn't get his mask, but I hope that when they do decide to make one, it won't:

a. be as terribly oversized as Batman's and Iron Man's, and

b. require a white headband across Logan's forehead. :)

They're not really a secret anymore. Those "generic" bad guys can be seen in the second trailer that just came out.

These look brilliant. I have never been a big Marvel fan, but I'm loving these and dearly worried that I'm going to end up buying them all...

I'll admit that Ironman looks a lot better in that picture than any other I've seen.

Still think he looks like a bobble-head, though I do think he looks a BIT better when there isn't a normal minifig next to him for comparison. The problem, for me, is that while there are plenty of very large helmets for minifigs, this one actually has a FACE on it that is scaled up to the helmet's size. That's what makes it look, again to ME, like a freakishly giant head.
