Aw, thanks for this thread. So many memories!

I know you're not looking for "that Vintage stuff", but as a kid my favorite R2 collectable was the cheap particle-board and plastic R2-D2 toy chest. It was on wheels, and big enough that my little sister and I could take turns riding inside while there other sibling pushed us. So much fun!

It was cheaply made, and has alas not survived to my adulthood, but I LOVED that R2!
