Zombie's Post-Apoc Podracer

Postby Oky Wan Kenobi » Wed Feb 29, 2012 7:10 pm

The Zombie is from a planet where an accident in a top-secret research lab has gone horribly wrong and turned everyone into living dead. This podracer was built by one of the survivors out of an abandoned truck and parts of the facility which caused the apocalypse, in order to escape the hordes of zombies. Unfortunately, he was attacked by the zombies as he was putting the finishing touches on it and is now a zombie himself. He has entered the podraces with the motif of killing (and consuming) as many racers as possible.

My entry is the Lumberjack-wagon. Jackwagon?

The Lumberjack has to stock up on "engines" before he hits the Tattooine circuit. After chopping down a few likely trees, they're retro-fitted with turbo-displacement engines, some beam cuplings and he calls it good. This contest was a lot of fun, and there's been some awesome entries! Sorry for the last minute submission.

This is the fisherman's Podracer. After a day of fishing, he enjoys a race with his two biggest catches at pull. He just can't get enough of the fishing dock so he designed a podracer that seems to have two fish caught. He also likes to try to go fishing while podracing, though I'm sure that's a bit of a challenge in itself.ImageImage

The evil space villain, Blacktron, is back and he'll stop at NOTHING to win! With his robotic eye focused on the prize, he'll do anything to level the competition. His podracer is built using only the finest materials known in all of the universe. Using nothing but the latest technology, his podracer is built for speed and is only the best. He may of taken some blows in the past but he has learned from his mistakes and is not meaner and better than ever. Image

Wow - how many podracers entered in the last few hours? I'm totally amazed at how awesome all the entries are and love the fact that even a seven-year old has entered a fantastic build too. I can't wait to see as many of these as possible in person at Legoland. Best of luck everyone - the race is on! (Unless someone can get an additional entry in within the next 27 minutes).

Hosted on brother's Flickr account (fbtb user: Commander Cody, flickr user: Commmander LEGOman)

PS we could not find the "little down arrow for the HTML/BBCode". All I could do is to add the link here.
I hope that does not DQ this entry because of this.
PPS "to the right of the icons" is way to vague for a new Flickr user like us.
PPS It is 11:30 in California now, so I cannot contact for any assistance.

can someone help us? (20 mins left to deadline!!!)
