I was hoping the HP Diagon Alley set would be on sale but it's not even in stock at the moment. I didn't notice anything worth jumping at but who knows what will happen down the road.

This might need another thread but I'm too lazy to start a new one or search for an older one...

I was at WM this morning and there was a good number of Lego sets half off on the Christmas display aisle. This may be a regional thing (NW Florida) but who knows.

I checked everything else out (SW, HP, etc). but only the above items were discounted and they had a ton of each except for the MW JSF.

You should have started a Walmart christmas clearance thread with this. Usually WM has a uniform list of sets that go on clearance for "most" stores. The discounts don't always match but last year they seemed to be uniform as well. I wouldn't be surprised to find the HP and Star Wars sets at the same discount in Atlanta. I'll post as soon as I stop for a visit.

I'm happy with the LEGO shop sale. Just ordered 25 items for 95 bucks with tax and shipping.

Just got back from the Lego store and I had to take advantage of some of the bigger discounts. Got 2 tantive IV's and dropship. Both were 30% off so it was worth it imo. No luck on at-ats. they have been sold out for a month before Christmas.

Those are pretty good deals, I did not see those sets on the front page though. I wonder if each Lego store is doing their own sale. Despite getting a late start I am going to go check out a store today to see if I can get lucky.

I hope my WM has those sales! I'd sort of like Mace Windu's starfighter (mainly for the parts and the two exclusive droids), and I'd love to get it at that price.

At least one Lego B/M store I went to had really good deals on lots of sets and some sets had really good discounts as well.
I was surprised at the sets available as they did differ from the ones listed online...

Same here. It seems like most of the 2011 or older non-exclusives were 10% off in Raleigh, and very few of the items that were on the regular sale lists were actually in stock. However, several items that were sold out online were still available there late this evening.

My 9 Ramses Pyramids have been cancelled. Gutted! Bang go my dreams of making a 3x5 area of baseplates using those 9 and the 6 I got when it was going for $10.
