lego aside, did anyone else go out and brave the crowds anywhere?

on a total impulse, i bought the zelda 3ds. i wasn't even interested in getting a 3ds which is kinda sad considering i've owned every single nintendo handheld since the original gameboy. the 3ds? eh. it's in trouble and without a compelling line up, it's hard to justify the purchase. plus, i don't have much time on my hands with the baby and all. still, ocarina of time is supposably the best zelda game ever.

but that's pretty much the extent of my black friday shopping.

On topic, I didn't go out. Don't really have the funds right now to buy anything nor the need to.

There's a limited edition 3DS, black with gold decoration, that comes with OoT 3D. It's awesome, and I'd buy it if I didn't already own the blue one.
Ace, Mario Kart 7 and Super Mario 3D Land are both out soon, so yay for that.

I saw no in-store deals over here and missed all the online deals. Oh well, maybe next year.

It's really annoying because a while back Ace was trying to convince me the 3DS wasn't worth getting, and I kept trying to sell him on the idea. Now look who has one and who doesn't :\ :P

I bought a 3DS at launch and deeply regretted it. I bought it with my eyes on all the awesome games I thought I'd be playing. I can't wait for Mario Kart 7 and I'm glad that there are a few (very few) games starting to trickle out that I'm actually interested in, but the regret still lingers. I suppose I am a "3DS Ambassador," and I get access to games I played when I was 5 and no longer really care about.

Anyway, I did all my shopping online. Picked up a few movies and games on Amazon:

Kinect + Dance Central 2 for my wife. I got Forza 4, Battlefield 3, and the first 3 X-Men movies for myself, all from Walmart. Also picked up X-Men: First Class from Bestbuy.com, and dozens of different games from Steam. Also got most of my X-Mas shopping done, so there is that.
