LEGO Shop@Home Brick Friday Deals November 25-28

Postby Staff » Wed Nov 23, 2011 9:59 pm

10% OFF $149 + FREE Shipping on $49 + Exclusive LEGO Set on $99

Brick Friday is here! It's technically here, since it's 12:00am EST. Anyways, LEGO Shop@Home has put together some pretty nice deals for Brick Friday which starts today November 25th and ends Monday November 28th:

· 10% off all orders of $149 or more
· Free Limited Edition Holiday set featuring Santa Minifigure with orders of $99 or more.
· FREE Shipping on all orders of $49 or more.
· All offers Valid: Nov 25th – 28th
· Offers Combinable – No Code Required

LEGO is also putting a lot of sets from a variety of themes on sale for 25% off. I assume the 10% off all orders of $149 and up discount does not stack. I've listed the original price along with the discounted price. Prices should also be good in store as well:

Are the sales going right now, or do they start at 12:00 am Friday?

YES! The price for #10195 Dropship w/ AT-OT was drastically slashed! In last two Brick Fridays, its price was $199.99!
I'm glad that I waited to buy it this year (especially since my brother and I won a LEGO giftcard)!

Just making sure...
The second exclusive LEGOshop@home vignette will be included in the shopping cart after $99 worth of products are ordered?

I'll bet they start 12:00 am on Friday and this was just posted a day early. I clicked a few of the links and they were all still at regular price.

So Lego...

What was the point of the VIP event last weekend to offer 1st crack at the Brick Friday Deals, if this list of set discounts wasn't also offered?

Don't get me wrong TLG... did I feel loved and special for being allowed to come to the event, absolutely! Did I spend a bunch of money, yep! Am I annoyed that I missed out on this better pricing on my Tantive IV and Imperial Flagship because I purchased at the special event? Just a bit.

Now I have to decide if it is worth my effort to purchase these again on Brick Friday, have them shipped for free (at TLG expense) and return the ones I bought last week.

I think (and I didn't go to an event) the point was the exclusivity of having the store to yourself* for an hour, having a VIP lanyard, and the opportunity to purchase some items early. I agree it would have made much more sense to offer some kind of discount, especially if the invited VIPs are supposed to be some of the best customers for each store.

I'm kind of new to this, but I remember last year that there was a HUGE price slash on Christmas Day (or the day after) on S&H, and we're talking 50% off at least. The one I remember distinctly was the Walking AT-AT, since I was bummed that I had got it for full price to be under the tree. Now, there's a lot to be said for having the sets in hand for the 25th, but wouldn't the majority of 50% cuts apply to sets that (like the AT-AT) are at the end of their run? And that would be the Dropship, Tantive, and Imperial Flagship (those things have been out forever!) 10% off with Free Shipping and everything else is a good deal from S&H, but wouldn't it be better to wait for the BETTER deal? Or is that too big a gamble?

The Flagship just came out last year, so I'm not sure if it's at the end of it's run or not. The cycle seems to be about 2 years, but there are sets that defy that (current x-wing and death star). The drop ship and tantive have been out since 2009 so possibly with them. The fire brigade has also been out since 2009 and there are currently 3 modular buildings when there are typically just 2, so it would stand to reason it is nearly done as well.

It all depends on what you are wanting. Do you really WANT the set? If so, 25% off is a good deal. Do you want the set to resell later? 25% off is still a good deal and obviously 50% off is better. However, good luck beating the hawks that have watch the site 24hrs and buy all they can in one transaction :)

zwolya, sometimes the holiday price slashes are on overstock, sometimes they are items that are due for retirement.

So basically, you just have to get lucky in that:
1) they slash what you want, with really no way to know in advance
2) you have to be fast enough before some meta-buyer gets the entire remaining stock

...still, 50% off...

Website is still up. It's definitely having technical difficulties, but I just placed an order. 10% discount doesn't stack with 25% off sets.

10% OFF DOES STACK! You have to buy $150 worth of merchandise. I just bought a imeperial ship and a winter toy shop! It stacked!

10% extra didn't stack for me either, but there was at least a message of the fact that they were having technical difficulties with the free shipping. i bought 149 and change before tax. did i have to go to 150? also no free xmas. hoping a call to customer service tomorrow during the day can help.

I'm not getting any stacking or automatic adding of promo sets...
eBay store, contact me if you'd like to perform trades from my inventory. I'm looking for original genosian fighers, second version a-wing fighters and tie bombers. I may be interested in other sets so let me know what you have.

All seems to be working now. Adding ~$15 extra to the flagship to get $150+ makes it 32% off... no brainer. It only took them an hour to fix, which isn't terrible.

Finally a decent sale from S@H! Just grabbed myself a Winter Toy Shop and Tantive IV to put me just a little over $150. Got the freebie holiday set plus the extra 15% off the whole order and free shipping with no trouble. Plus a good chunk of VIP points to go with it all. Total order was just over $141 since there is no tax in NH.
I had to promise the wife that i wouldn't buy anything else until spring but i think this was worth it! XD XD XD

The 10% discount did end up stacking when I received my order confirmation. Also, the AT-OT #10195 is now sold out. Emerald Night is on limited product availability and should be sold out soon.
