Just so we're clear: This doesn't mean solid black or solid green for the vehicles, correct? I was thinking maybe a few bricks (and a windshield and wheels) might be of a different color.

you can use a few elements in a different color. but too much of an accent color, the voters might deem it not batmobiley or greenlanternmobiley enough.

Yeah, I'm hoping people aren't TOO perfectionist on that score. Because while there might well exist green wheels (I honestly don't know) I am quite certain I don't have any...

I look at it this way:
If it's a projection of his ring, it SHOULD be all green. So maybe he projected a vehicle on four tires he found in his garage.
If it's a car built for him (for picking up chicks, or a charity race against Bats) then it could easily have some black & white ACCENTS just like his costume.

Join the club of non greeners... Its easier to head toward ol' Bats. Although I dont think Green really drives such iconic cars like Bats, I think Bats entries will be awesome... Heres hoping I can enter this.

The more I consider this, the less I feel I'll even be inclined to enter. I really don't have much interest in entering a Batmobile, and I don't think I've got the parts for a GL-mobile (which is a shame, as I REALLY want that fig, especially given that LEGO isn't putting out any GL sets in the first wave).

I do look forward to seeing what those folks that DO have a bunch of varied green parts (especially trans. green) have to offer. I love Green Lantern!

Just for clarification, we don't have to have a minifig piloting. I mean, I know with Green Lantern, unless you are lucky, you can't, but what about a Batmobile?

Just so that there's no confusion: a Batmobile and GreenLanternmobile is considered a vehicle with no more and no less than four wheels.

Eh, I may try something. I haven't actually taken stock of my green parts. Of course, I will need to find some time. I've been working a LOT of hours lately.
