LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean Exclusive Pre-order Bonus

Gotta catch'em all? If it's one thing LEGO knows about it's customer base, it's that they go nuts for minifigs. And as if including a different version of Jack Sparrow in every upcoming LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean set wasn't enough, they've tilted their unscrupulous meter another notch by offering an exclusive version of Jack as a pre-order bonus of the LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean video game through Gamestop. The game will be available for every major platform including the Nintendo 3DS on May 10, 2011.

So THAT's what the printed trophy in 4195 is supposed to be! A little wooden Jack Sparrow! And this seems to be a large version of it. That's pretty neat, I might actually get that.

I had actually been hoping that they would do this. Should have done the same with Lego SWIII, perhaps offering an exclusive clone trooper. That would have pulled in a lot of pre-orders.

I know that it's just a little minifig, but this bumps the game from a buy used not long after release to pre-order.

I preorderd the Clone Wars III and have to agree it would have been cool to get a special clone trooper. MIght have to go back and pre order the POTC now.

Walmart has now sweetened the deal with not only the special minifig but an additional $10 E-gift card. Now I'm all over it!!

I was just at tru and found three bricktober figures. While checking out, they gave me one of these jack sparrow figures in a baggie. Total cost, 4 cents! Woot!
