Slave One-Half

Postby sparkart » Sun Jan 30, 2011 12:59 pm

Boba Fett's Slave One-Half by sparkart, on Flickr.

Image
TROOPER: Sir, are you sure about this?
BOBA FETT: I come back from IKEA with stuff strapped on the top like this all the time!

Image
Boba fits and sits (with jetpack!) snugly in the cockpit.

Here is a cockpit/canopy animation to demonstrate that the minifigure really fits properly seated at the controls with the canopy closed.

I have my photos, but I have no idea how to embed them! I read the guidline, and it says the link has to end with jpg pr png or something, but where do I find the link for that?

My entry, the Republic Swamp Speeder! I originally had this crazy Death Star idea but gave up, and this suddenly popped in my head so yeah.

You can see two more pictures on my flickr or the FBTB post comparing it to the actual model.

here's my x-wing entry! since chibi usually has an abnormally large head and tiny body, i super shortened the nose, enlarged the nosecone and made the cockpit high and short instead of long and sleek. also the wings are shortened, and the main body is chubby now. Image

I somehow can't figure out how to post my picture. Can somebody help me figure out how I can import one of my pictures from my documents to your thread. I've tried everything to get the picture on and no luck, but I really want to enter the contest.

Long time reader, first time poster. This contest sounded too fun to pass up, so here it is, my Chibi Landspeeder, able to seat two (four if you include the droids in the back).

You can view the rest of the shots on my Flickr.

I know it's not as awesome as some of the other entries here, but for someone who just came out of their Dark Ages a few months ago I'm pretty proud of myself! XD

Best of luck to everyone! All the entries look AMAZING!

Oh, and a special thanks to my girlfriend for coming home from work tonight with three bags of sand and telling me we were recreating Tatooine on our dinning room table for this photoshoot!

Well, I might have gone overboard with the "as small as possible" rule, but here's my take on the Millennium Falcon:

More photos (but much of the same) here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/hopetombas ... 825136411/

For what it's worth, I've never posted a MOC anywhere, other than to my wife (who usually rolls her eyes) or to my son (who usually smashes it to bits and builds something else)... I can't believe I was even able to take pics of this one!

Thanks for the contest!

{{edit: pics not coming through... am I too new to do so?}} Nevermind... figured it out!
