My latest MOC... not in LEGO bricks!

It's like the old BCS, except the 2.0 makes it fancy. Wondering why you can't post here? Check out the rules and expectations, and it all should be made clear...

My latest MOC... not in LEGO bricks!

Postby Daz Hoo » Fri Jan 07, 2011 2:36 pm

Hi guys!

I've been kind of out of it for the last few weeks, but it's not just because of the Holiday season.

Fact is, the wife and I have been spending a lot of time lately at a fertility clinic, and I do have good news to report:

Although it's pretty hard to see there, that's our second child (my son turned 3 last September) right there, due to be born at the end of next August. Unfortunately, that also means that I won't be attending the first ever Bricksnorth convention, but hey, there will be others!

Mom is really sleepy most of the times (mostly due to the medication she still has to take), but everyone is fine and quite happy!

Well, if you ask me, I really think that that piece hanging on the end really detracts from the overall aesthetic quality...

Eh, screw it, I can't keep the joke running. Congrats, Daz!

Way to go! I hope all the best for your new MOC. Though shouldn't this really be a OOC (Our Own Creation). These things are tough to make by yourself.

Congrats man! It's really great when things work out like that. My wife and I had to go through a couple years of fertility treatments as well, so I can totally understand where you're coming from. Again, Congratulations!

Congrats to you two!

We had to do fertility treatments for our daughter (who will be 3 in April) but not for our son, who was (sorry if TMI) a natural conception. Sorry you have to miss a big LEGO convention, but it will be worth it. Get your sleep while you can!

Perhaps it's my mind being perpetually stuck in the gutter, but this just seems dirty...

Not saying I disagree, though. XD

The beauty of a LEGO MOC is not the elements that go into it, but the way those elements are put together.

While your latest MOC is impressive, I'm somewhat disappointed in the lack of classic space elements found in your previous efforts. :)

Congratulations.

Yeah, I agree that it's missing some gray, blue and trans-yellow elements. I'll have to see to that when I pick new clothes for the baby. :p

And thanks to those who answered since my last post. You guys are so cool, no wonder I've been sticking around here for the past 11 years! :D

I could have sworn I already replied to this but I probably got distracted by something shiny and forgot to hit the submit button.

Anyway... Congrats and may the force be with you and all that jazz.
