Seriously, though, I actually don't want to be on the waitlist, I gots no $$ here in the weeks just after christmas. I am, however, interested to see how this unfolds. And big ups to the FBTB staff for putting this ambitious project together.

One recommendation (and it may be a moot point since I'm not familiar with the inventory of these sets): you may want to state the policy for paired pieces, i.e. "wing" plates and bricks, hinges, etc. What will and won't be married up to each other in an individual lot?

First off, I'm pretty excited about this. I've read about LEGO drafts, but never participated.
Thanks for organizing the draft. I have printed out the inventories and am familiarizing myself with them. I have a question about how the two sets will be parted out. Will identical pieces from the 2 sets be combined? For example there are 4 1x4 reddish-brown tiles in set 7571 and 8 in set 7570. Will they be kept as a group of 40 and another group of 80? or will they be combined into one group of 120 (wow!) or split into 2 groups of 60 ... or something else?

Parts that appear in both sets will be combined; if they then make very large lots, we will split them evenly.

Does anyone know where I can find an inventory for these sets? I have the larger one, but not the ostrich race.

I still have a lot of questions to answer that came in over PM, but I did want to say I will be putting together a final inventory when I've finished sorting and breaking up lots. If you have already saved or printed up the inventories, that's still good so that you can be thinking about what you would want.
