UPDATE: Forum member roar15 has shared a doorbuster coupon for $20 off any LEGO purchase $75 or more for Saturday 12/18 from 6 am-1 pm, in-store only. Not sure if this can be combined with the existing 20% off, but if you can get it to work, that would bring 8129 down to about $75! Definitely worth a try. Good luck!

At Toys R Us, you can snag an 8129 AT-AT Walker for $95.99, 20% off TRU's normal price of $119.99 (or $14 off regular MSRP). It's not a huge discount, but that brings it down to about what the original 4483 AT-AT cost back in 2003.

Sale runs Friday 12/17 and Saturday 12/18. You will also get the free 30005 Speeder Bike with purchase.

I went over to TRU today, and they had dozens of AT-ATs. Looked like no one had gotten any. There was one sign for the deal, over near the back of the aisle. If you didn't know about the deal there was really no way to see it unless you were paying close attention. They also only had the Toy Story alien with spaceship promo, didn't see any Stormtrooper.

I'm so glad I woke up early and stopped by TRU at 7am in the morning and found only 3 of these left on the shelf. Two of the boxes were beat up pretty good and I was lucky that the last one was in pristine condition. Total cost with the $20 off coupon was $80.55. I just couldn't pass up this deal. Not bad for a set I was going to hold out on getting. Hopefully there aren't anymore good sales as I have spent way too much this holiday season.

They had probably 20 on an end cap at my closest TRU this morning. Still none of the new sets to be found there.

I'll be swinging by another store later, if they've got any I probably won't be able to resist any longer. 95 -20 coupon -10 promo gift card from a few weeks back makes for a pretty sweet deal on it. I know my rewards card is already maxed for this period, I'll have to check the wife's card... might be able to get another 10% back on top of everything else.

Walked out the door with one for 72 and some change. That price plus the 10% back put the set well into the sweet spot price range.

Plus my new to me 4483 showed up in the mail today, so I went from having just the Motorized one to having all three in an afternoon. My Hoth rebels are so screwed.

This was one set that I was going to pass on but with a price of less than 10 cents/piece, it was all over. I tried to get a series 3 minifig with it but they said I had to take the stormie.

I was so busy this week with work and rushing around for special sales that I honestly didn't have the energy for this one. Some might say that $76 was too low to miss. It is a good price for those that took advantage. It's a 100 dollar set that was available for 25% off. I've spent more this year on even deeper discounts this season and this wasn't enough to get me out driving today with the crazy people. I think this will come around on a special again, TRU just doesn't get limited run stuff that doesn't last 2 years at least. In fact, the store I was at seemed to have fresh stock of over 20 Dooku Solar Sailors. I really thought that set was done when they were discounting it.

over 30% off was good enough to get me to pick up a couple, plus the 10% back toys r us rewards , made it a no brainer

I tried to get one 8129 with the $20 off coupon but was denied. I was told that I can't use it because the set was already discounted.
